Onion

Pakistan is celebrated for its high-quality onions, known for their vibrant red color and impressive shelf life. MRK Global Links sources only the finest onions from the rich farmlands of Balochistan and Sindh. Balochistan’s harvest begins in early July and concludes around mid-September, while Sindh’s crop season starts in December and continues until mid-February. Our primary export destinations span the Middle East—specifically Dubai, Oman, Bahrain, and Qatar—and Asia, including Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.

There are three qualities or sorting of Onion. The first size is the Premium size which is from 55mm and higher, it’s the highest quality and is mostly exported to Singapore and over the Middle East. The Second quality is from 45mm to 55mm it is mostly exported to Malaysia, Srilanka and Bangladesh. The Third Quality is 35-45mm it is exported in Bangladesh, Srilanka and sometimes Malaysia. The fourth quality onion is also known as Pickle Onion is from 25-35mm it is mostly exported to Malaysia.
